This beautiful 2005 Mercedes Benz E55 AMG was brought to our shop in Wheatridge for ceramic window tint and a full front clip clear bra installation.
The first step was to clean and wash the vehicle in preparation for the window tint. Pana Flex 35% was installed on all of the side windows and the rear window of this car.
The owner wanted to keep the cars interior cooler and more comfortable. As well as protect the leather interior and dash board from cracking and fading. So we not only tinted the side windows we also tinted the full front windshield and the sunroof in ceramic 70%.
The windshield is the largest window on the vehicle so it makes sense to tint it with high performing ceramic window tint. By choosing a lighter tint shade on the windshield, our customer was able to cut down on heat, glare, and UV ray penetration. Plus the light shade of the tint does not affect nighttime visibility.
After completing the entire window tint package our next job was to prep the car for clear bra. This is an involved process where we must remove all decontaminates from the paint. Our process is to first wash the vehicle with a foam bath and rinse. Next we go over the vehicle with a clay bar to remove any additional particles of dirt or grease. After the surface has been decontaminated we may have to do a bit of paint polishing. This is sometimes necessary on older vehicles. Preparation is absolutely crucial to ensure a high quality clear bra installation.
We began the installation process with the full hood. We covered the entire hood and wrapped all the edges to ensure complete coverage and protection. We then installed clear bra on the full front fenders and wrapped the edges to ensure optimum coverage.
The next project was the front bumper. The front bumper takes the majority of damage and rock chips so protecting the bumper is always a top priority. We were able to get great coverage from wheel to wheel. After we completed the front end we began work on the headlights, mirrors, door cups, door edge guards and the A-Pillars. This customer selected our Drivers package and all these areas come standard in that package. This car is set and ready to hit the road and the owner can enjoy the vehicle without worry and stress.
